Tony and Steve stand in the former's workshop, staring at a peculiar device.
"So," Steve began, crossing his arms, "This thing switches minds?" There's a silver of skepticism in his voice.
Tony smirked, "Yep, just like Freaky Friday."
"Just like what?"
With a mischievous grin, Tony reached out towards a button, "Let's give it a whirl, Cap. What do you say?"
"Tony, n—"
A flash followed and, with it, their view of the world. Tony, now in Steve's body, stumbled a bit as he attempted to adjust to his newfound strength. Meanwhile, Steve in Tony'n body, marveled at all the thoughts that were going through his head. Even as they struggled to adapt to being in the other one's shoes literally, they were also gaining a deeper understanding about each other's perspective.
