Morgan gazed up at the stars, his fingers interlaced with Jiya's as they laid together on a blanket in the park. It's been a long time since he's felt so peaceful and content as he does at this moment.

"It's hard to believe we finally have a free weekend together," Jiya murmured against his chest,

Morgan smiled, thinking how in their last year of residency, moments like this one where they could be alone together were truly rare treasures.

"You know, I have been thinking..." he said, running his fingers through her silky hair, "With residency ending and all, about the future and what comes next. For us."

Jiya looked up at him, "And what does Dr. Stark see in the future for us?"

He took a deep breath, "I hope... no, that's not right. I want to take the next step with you. With our relationship." Jiya's eyes shone as he continued, "We've already talked about moving in together. But I was also hoping... well..."

Jiya squeezed his hand, encouraging him.

"Well, I was hoping that... you can see yourself raising a family with me someday. You know the someday in the next future, I hope, when we can spare the time from concentrating on being doctors, and use that time for us."

Jiya smiled, and laid her head down again, "Oh, my dear Morgan... you don't know how much I've actually dreamed about us starting a family of our own."

He let out a relieved breath, and wrapped his arms tightly around her. They both looked back to the stars, knowing their future together was just as bright as the heavenly blanket above them.
